Hey there!

I’m Katharina, but most people know me as Katy or Kasia. I chose Kasia as the name for my blog because it’s a little more unique and memorable. It’s actually the Polish version of my nickname! My mum is from Poland, so that’s where the name comes from, and I love that it reflects a part of my heritage.

I definitely inherited my love for travel from my parents. Both of them have lived in several different countries and have travelled extensively, both for work and in their personal lives. Ever since I was born, they have taken my brother and me on countless trips around the world, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences they gave us. Growing up, travelling wasn’t just something we did during the holidays; it became a way of life.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to explore incredible destinations across Europe and North America, and every trip has taught me something new. I’ve learned that the best travel experiences rarely come from following the perfect itinerary. Instead, they come from spontaneous adventures, meaningful conversations with strangers who become friends, getting lost in a new city, or discovering places you never would have found in a guidebook.

That’s exactly why I created this blog.
